Michael Phelps has tied the record for most medals with his 18th medal win Tuesday night(yes London is ahead of us). He just barely missed the gold medal in 200-meter butterfly. At the last minute Phelps was out touched by Chad le Clos of South Africa. Clos came in with a time of 1:52:96 and Phelps had 1:53:01. So he’s got 18 medals but the media is bummed that it wasn’t gold. Despite it being a silver media, his second of the games including the relay, I think he should be proud.
Winning 18 medals is not an easy task and the media should respect that. So let’s focus on the positive.
