What I Meant to Say . . .

Vanessa Bryant does not want anyone to think she is a gold digger. Since her a quote was leaked out of context from interview where she basically said she wouldn’t want to be with a player who didn’t win championships, she’s been catching a lot of heat. Now Vanessa has released a new statement, “I have and will continue to support my husband’s dreams. I have been with Kobe for 13 years. I accepted his marriage proposal prior to him winning any of his five championships with his teammates.”

I don’t think any of us doubt that Vanessa is devoted, I think the question is to what? I mean does she want Kobe or Kobe’s money? I guess if she really just wanted Kobe’s money she would divorce him and cash in. And also not to put a dent in her credibility but a month after Kobe proposed he won his first NBA championship so it was pretty clear he was a winner.
