Tonight in San Diego the new face of the MMA Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Sarah Kaufman on Strike Force. The fight will be broadcast on Showtime. Rousey has sky rocketed in fame based on her ability to be very candid sometimes too candid. She has developed a love/hate relationship with fans. With one comment on her from a guy being, “I don’t like her but I’d still sleep with her.” Despite her stardom Rousey is still going to face a real challenge tonight against Kaufman. The two women have very different fighting styles. Rousey is using her body to make her opponent submit while Kaufman is more of striker.
It is likely that Rousey will win. But the real question is, does she need to win to continue to be a celebrity?
