Grieving the Loss of Linsanity

20 Jul

While some New York Knicks fans could have cared less about Jeremy Lin there were others that have suffered. They have a void in their lives that can only be filled by yet another parody song of “Somebody I Used to Know.” Although I think this is a funny video it is no where near the level of “Kobe That I Used to Know.” Watch and enjoy!

She Really Likes Jumping

20 Jul

Is it just me or does this video remind anyone of “The Man Show” where the girls would jump on trampolines. Although Aussie hurdler Michelle Jenneke’s is a hottie let’s try to remember she is only 19.  . . Regardless I have never seen someone so happy who is about to jump over a bunch of hurdles. This video has nothing to do with the Olympics, it’s from the IAAF World Junior Championship last weekend in Barcelona.

I’d Rather Go Naked . . . Than Wear That

20 Jul

Who cares that the US Olympic Team’s uniforms were made in China at least they don’t look like Spain’s outfits. When they first released the outfits I thought man that’s bad but hoping they might change. Oh no it just got worse. It is so bad that even the athletes are distancing themselves from the uniforms.

Spanish canoeist, Saul Craviotto, tweeted a picture of his outfit and told people, “I’ll leave it up to you.” Meanwhile field hockey player(yes apparently that is an Olympic sport and Spain has a team) tweeted a cheesy photo of himself in the outfit and put, “Spare the adjectives …

So what is Spain saying about the outfits- they were free. I mean I know Spain is having a tough economic time but really couldn’t you have put some money in to make your countrymen look respectable not like fast food workers?

It’s A 3-Way With Dwight Howard

20 Jul

Nothing is official yet but Dwight Howard might end up with the Los Angeles Lakers. Howard had been reluctant to sign with the Lakers under the philosophy that he wants to ‘be Kobe Bryant not play with Kobe Bryant.’ But apparently Howard wised up to the fact that he could be making major dough if he moved to major market team. It was stipulated before that if Howard went to LA he would only play for one season. Although sources have reported that Howard is open to re-signing with the Lakers, Howard’s agent is refuting that claim. If Howard did move to LA he would be stupid not to extend with the Lakers just for endorsements alone.

In order to get Howard the Lakers would be sending Andrew Bynum to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Which is actually seems like a really good fit. Especially with their young star Kyrie Irving. The only problem is that the Cavaliers want a commitment from Bynum that he will sign a contract extension.

So far the Lakers have not allowed anyone team to directly communicate with Bynum. There is also the possibility that Bynum could end up with the Houston Rockets or Magic. As Bynum has said he doesn’t care where he plays, which to Lakers’ fans means pack your bags.
