Heat Flash Mob

11 Jun

After the Miami Heat secured their place in the NBA Finals they decided to celebrate with a little dancing. I really want to know what music was playing if any in this room because everybody seems like they are in their own little world. It kind of looked like they were trying to get a dance party going but then just sort of gave up. They should rest up anyways because Game 1 is going to be tough. The Heat will face the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday.

Bill Murray Adds Some Fun to Minor League Baseball

11 Jun

Bill Murray showed fans at a minor league baseball game yesterday that he is still funny. The game was rained out and Murray decided to entertain fans by playing around on the field. If you are think man celebrities get to do everything, I can’t run on the field. Well yes and no. Murray is actually part owner of the team the Charleston RiverDogs. That means he can run on the field whenever he likes. I would pay more to have a side of Murray with my baseball tickets.

Don’t Get in Front of Olympic Runners

11 Jun

I think this video is why they need signs at tracks, “Runner crossing, watch out!” This very sweet girl was trying to give heart breaker Olympic runner Usain Bolt flowers but didn’t seem to realize he was running very fast and it is hard to slow down. She should be thankful she wasn’t trampled by him.

Still Going: Kings/Devils Game 6

11 Jun

I love this clip. This shows how in touch Los Angeles is with hockey. This reporter stated that the Kings are in their first Stanley Cup Finals but actually they have been in the Finals before in the 199-1993 season. Can I just say, it’s called Wikipedia use it.

Since I have been royal jinxing the Los Angeles Kings from winning the Stanley Cup every time I write that it will happen, I am trying a new approach today. Instead of thinking that Game 6 today could be the last game, I am going to predict an insane comeback from the New Jersey Devils. I am confident once I do this the Kings will actually win. It is great to have a hockey game on today with no NBA Playoffs games scheduled at the same time.

The Kings will take on the Devils at the Staple Center for Game 6 at 8:00pm EST on NBC.

Nadal Wins for 7th Time

11 Jun

After a rained out match yesterday at the French Open Rafael Nadal made broke a record this morning winning for the 7th time. Nadal beat number one ranked Novak Djokovic, 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. Djokovic was attempting to make history too by winning four consecutive titles but alas there can only be one record setter. Before rain swashed the game Sunday Djokovic was leading in the 4th set, 2-1. But Djokovic double faulted on match point (meaning he made two bad serves in a row) making Nadal the winner. But these two will meet again soon at Wimbledon.
