On the part of the Heat this is type of game that I expect from the beginning. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade have found their footing without Chris Bosh. James scored 30 points for the Heat. Twice running down the court to dunk with a wide open field. Wade had 28 points and seemed to be fully recovered from whatever had him down in Game 3. A ghost from Duke’s past Shane Battier added 13 points for the Heat. Battier has been in the NBA for so long that I almost forgot he was still playing.
Another college basketball ghost was Tyler Hansbrough he was a UNC star and now a Pacer bencher. As a Duke fan you can imagine how I feel about Hansbrough. And man tonight it was like he was trying to be notice but not in a good way. Hansbrough hit Wade in the face forcing him to sport the oh so stylish band aid over the eye look for the rest of the game. But Hansbrough was only dealt a flagrant foul 1. The hit didn’t sit to well with Heat’s Udonis Haslem who had experienced Hansbrough fist in Game 4. (more…)
