As the headlines have been saying the Indiana Pacers turned turned down the heat on the Miami Heat Tuesday night. The Pacers won 78-75. The Pacers were pretty pleased with themselves and celebrated while still on the court. As you can imagine this didn’t sit well with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Both players thought the Pacers were celebrating over nothing, after all it is just one game in the series.
The Heat were readjusting after losing Chris Bosh to injury, who will most likely be out for the rest of the Playoffs. Without Bosh around the Heat are going to need to find someone else to carry the load. It is crazy that Wade and James scored 24 and 28 points but no one else on the team scored more than 5. If the Heat are going to make it through this series, especially against the Spurs, then they need to have a whole team.
The Pacers got lucky that Bosh was out for Game 2 but luck isn’t going to get you into the finals.
