The Denver Nuggets Chris “Birdman” Andersen has been dismissed due to an ongoing investigation of him involving internet crimes against children or kiddy porn. The Birdman as he is called for his colorful tattoos and bird celebration dance has not been charged with anything yet. As we have seen in other child sex cases the Nuggets would rather be safe than sorry so they are giving him a vacation until the matter is resolved.
The police searched Andersen’s home on Thursday. Although we don’t know what he is charged with it could be that he shared kiddy porn in chat rooms or that he was talking to luring child online. It is a bummer for that this is happening when the Nuggets have a shot of making it to round 2. This is not the first time that Andersen has missed playing, he was banned for 2 years in 2006 for doping.
