Dressed in head-to-toe orange, Rickie Fowler won his first ever PGA Tour title at the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte Sunday. Fowler, 23, is the only thing that piques my interest when I am forced to watch golf while visiting my grandparents. He takes color coordination to a whole other level, often dressing in all pink, lime green or baby blue. Way to keep an old white man’s sport alive, Rickie!
A dazed fan casually strolled onto the court in the middle of a play during the Nuggets-Lakers game Sunday. Savannah McMillan-Christmas, 20, was arrested for trespassing and was later picked up and taken home by her mother. She apparently had previously been banned from the Pepsi Center for stalking former player Kenyon Martin. She was heard screaming “Where is Kenyon?” before running onto the floor.
I have to say, I was a little disappointed she wasn’t streaking. It may be harder to streak on a basketball court rather than the larger football fields or baseball diamonds, but wouldn’t that better grab Kenyon Martin’s attention? After all, I remember when nearly every time Anna Kournikova played at Wimbledon, there would be some pale, crazed Brit streaker vying for her attention. Let’s step-up our streaking game, ladies!
