Another Bull Down

I am really going to have to update my NBA Playoff Bracket. I had the Bulls going all the way. Now they have lost center Joakim Noah who rolled his left ankle in the third quarter of the game Friday night. The Chicago Bulls were already hurting from their loss of Derrick Rose and now they are even further in the whole. Noah is not going to be playing in Game 4. Once Noah left the game the 76ers rolled over the Bulls erasing their lead and eventually winning, 79-74. Right now the 76ers are winning the series, 2-1. The Bulls are going to need a miracle to come back from this.

2 Minutes, A Whole Day of Media Coverage

It is always amazing how the media manages to stretch anything out. Today will be devoted to the Kentucky Derby. A race which is literally decided in 2 minutes. It has gotten to the point where their is red carpet coverage of the Kentucky Derby. Unless there is a horse walking down the red carpet in a dress, I can’t see how that is relevant. As a female the only positive thing about the Derby is it gives women the chance to wear over sized hats and actually be in fashion. I pretty sure that no one follows horse racing except for the Derby and then of course the occasionally Oscar film that reminds us horse racing is a sport.

You can catch the Derby today by tuning in today 6:24 ET(don’t be late because you might just miss it). There are twelve horse that actually have a shot at winning out of the 20.  The favorite is the Bodemeister to win. In honor of Cinco de Mayo, I would like to see the horse, I’ll Have Another, win.

A Sex Offender Scared Me

This story is so random that I am not sure what to think of it. Ohio State football recruit, Alex Anzalone, is leaving the school because a sex offender posted photos of the two together online. Now I know when you first read this you think, dirty photos. No basically this guy, Charles Eric Waugh, found Anzalone during a recruiting trip and asked to have a photo taken with him in a public place. Then Waugh put the pictures up online. Waugh was found guilty of five counts of possession of underage sexual content. Waugh also reached out to Anzalone, other recruits, Ohio State coaches, and athletes online. No one has said what the connect of the messages were. But it must have been pretty intense to make Anzalone give up his slot at Ohio State, who team is shaping up to be pretty good this year.

The school has sent out Waugh’s mug shot to everyone and is taking the necessary precautions. I’m not sure whether Anzalone was scared of a sex offender scandal breaking out because he was in a photo with this guy or if he just wasn’t really feeling Ohio State.

Happy Cinco De Drinko!!!!!

It has come to our that Cinco de Mayo has been Americanized. Apparently the point of this holiday is not to drink as much tequila as possible while wearing a giant sombrero. But just as Easter has nothing to do with a bunny, we will continue to celebrate the American way. In honor of this holiday, we at GTS have decided to put together a little slideshow of famous athletes sporting sombreros. This our effort to make you feel better about getting drunk and putting a sombrero on. Enjoy.
