After Robert Griffin was toted around to the media on Thursday we thought we were done with quarterback drafting for the Washington Redskins. That was until today when the Redskins
bought drafted a back-up QB- Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins. Even Cousins was surprised to be drafted by the Redskins. This is the first time since 1989 that two QBs have been selected by the same team in the first four rounds. Although it was a shocking move, it was also smart. No one knows how Griffin will perform at the pro level. And it is smart to cover their asses in case Griffin has an injury.
Now the question is are they going to keep Cousins or use him to get another player? I think they will keep him but we will have to wait and see.
